This was the last week of the project. We had already built the device but we had to program it so that it can follow a black line using its light sensor. This was quite hard to figure out because we didn't have a guide, unfortunately i wasn't able to finish as i was struggling to make it follow the line.

Unfortunately, we are now coming to an end with the building part of this project because we have built the line follower. The idea is to build a buggy to follow a black line so that it can successfully lap a circuit on a board, to do this we will need to create a program to drive the nxt. As we just finished building the nxt we didn't have time to create a program. Next week we will be doing this, I expect this to be really hard....
This week we had to build the actual device. In other words, a line follower. This was definitely the fun part of the project because we are using lego to build a machine! We used and instruction booklet to do this. The idea is to build a buggy to follow a black line so that it can successfully lap the circuit on the board. This uses a light sensor to track the line.

This week we finally finished our pilots and we moved on to doing the exercise before starting to build the system. In the final exercise we had to create a pilot without instructions. It took us quite a few attempts but we were able to finish it. Then we moved on to building the system, we had to make a line follower. This had to follow a line on a board using motors and sensors.
